First of all sorry for the lack of updates but with work, and the ongoing work at the DRPS time to update the website has been hard to come by so here is a round up of current works.

Tria-ang Project

The series of photos shown below show the various stages of the restoration of a 10 1/4 inch gauge trai-ang coach.

The coach was completly disassembled, and then prepared for painting.

Once cleaned the chassis is repainted.

Barrie is seen here repairing and preparing the seats frames for painting.

The freshly painted frames are seen below.

Below we see the boogies as removed from the coach. These have been stripped down and made right as necessary.

Once stripped the individual parts were all painted prior to reassembly.

Below we see the first fully restored coach.

The track for this to run on has also required restoration.
After many years of storage it is not in a good condition,

Below we see Matt changing sleeper on one of the many panels we have to work on.

The Scammel

Work has now started on the restoration of our Scammel.
Brian and Barrie are seen starting to strip the vehicle down,

Barrie is seen removing layers of old paint and muck in preparation for a repaint and restoration

Track Work
Work continues on the relaying of our workshop access line.

All remains to say is as ever we rely solely on volunteers who give up there time and effort for our organisation. So why not come along and get involved, every Tuesday evening from around 5pm until 9pm you will be made most welcome.
