Below are a few photos showing the current state of Northern Gasboard Number 1's overhaul,


In the coming weeks the boiler will be lifted from the frames to allow work to commence.

78018 Receives Nomination For A Award

In February three member of the DRPS attended the Heritage Railway Association Annual General Meeting and Awards Dinner. We where shortlisted for the John Coiley Award For Locomotive Restoration, and received a certificate.
